Good morning
It's been a while since my last post. I went to my Neurologist yesterday and she gave me orders NOT to drive since I have had some seizures and was hospitalized last Tuesday for them. I have been having issues with muscle weakness, numbness and now seizures that come upon me without warning. They think the muscle weakness is from Lupus.
The doctor put me on seizure medicine to see if this will help. She also is sending me to a seizure specialist. I will also so be seeing a Rheumatologist in December for the Lupus. We will hold off on going to the Mayo Clinic or to the Baylor Clinic she said until sometime next year. Lord willing if it's His will He will give the doctor's direction as to what's going on. He is my strength day by day and I leave it all in His hands, for He never gives us more than we can handle, even though sometimes we may think we have more than we can Handel.

"Be Still And Know I Am God."
"Be still and know I am God." Psalm 46:10
When was the last time you were just still? To hear complete quietness and doing absolutely nothing except meditate on this verse?Have you stilled your mind?Have you stilled your heart?Have you stilled your soul?Busyness reigns in our fast-paced world today---but Christians need to take the time to meditate and reflect on God's Word. We cannot hear God's voice if our minds are running so quickly trying to 'get it all done'. We want to be in communion with Him on a day to day, minute to minute basis. You can't do that with radios blaring, phones ringing and an overloaded schedule. What is He trying to speak with you today? His gentle voice might be nudging you to:
1. Spend more time relishing His word and fellowshipping with Him in prayer and stop living in idolatry putting other things before Him.
2. Stop neglecting your husband because you are so busy with the children and/or other endeavors. Begin respecting him by putting him on the throne of your heart (after God, of course). True respect begins there and is not just an outward act 'because you have to.'
3. To train your children and make it a PRIORITY to bring Christ to them in a real way. If you are mentoring someone at church and not your children, you need to repent.
4. Repent of that private sin(s) that only you and the Lord know about. Yes, it may be the thousandth time you brought it to Him, but this time it needs to be for good. Remember that godly sorrow brings repentance, but worldly sorrow doesn't.
5. To desire and begin to cultivate a gentle and quiet spirit. The false beauty of this world screams at us to be loud, aggressive, and proud. This is not true beauty---we need to reject this wordly philosophy. Humility is beautiful.....meekness is too.
6. To stop overeating. Just stop. You can do it. No excuses.
7. To keep promises you have made to others and to Him. You are learning to build godly character by doing so.
8. To control your tongue (by doing this you must also have control over your heart). The sharp tongue belongs to the foolish woman who 'tears down her home'.Begin to work on these things now! It is so easy to step away from the computer and forget all the valuable things we have learned. We can be forever searching for 'meat' but forgetting as soon as we have partaken in it. Take a mental inventory of what needs to be done in your life.

Thank You Lord For My Thorns
My God, I have never thanked You for my thorns. I have thanked You a thousand times for my roses, but never once for my thorns. Teach me the glory of the cross I bear; teach me the value of my thorns. Show me that I have climbed closer to You along the path of pain. Show me that, through my tears, the colors of Your rainbow look much more brilliant.”
Praise Him for the roses; thank Him for the thorns. God Bless all of you. Be thankful for all that the Lord does for you.

They did it again
Well they did it to me again :)
We were invited to the Jordan's for supper Monday evening they said that Mark and Amber were bringing supper. All of the Jordan Boy's their wifes, Steff, Steve & Donna, Erin and Jeremy. We were all sitting waiting on Mark to show up with the food (late as usual), He comes in and we are all sitting around and he starts talking about David. He said He tried to call him but got no answer, then his phone rang. Mark pretends to talk to David and then the door opens up and in COMES David. I almost hurt myself running to him I let out a scream and started running to him. They had this planned for a while. All of the guy's ( Steve, Steven & Rebekah Walker, Stephen Jordan Wes Jordan, Mark and Jeremy) worked on it for several weeks, they did a good job keeping it under their hats. Dave will be going back to Hawaii on Monday until January 2008. Here are a few pictures.

Isaiah 12:2
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid: for the Lord JE-HO-VAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Good Morning
Good morning
Sorry it's been so long since my last post, I have been down in bed for the past week, not able to sit, stand or walk. I had a spinal tap done last Tuesday and I think it messed my disc up. I'm somewhat better today but still can't sit to long without being in pain. Please pray for me the doctor said we might have to do another spinal tap to see if it will help(some special spinal tap to draw blood and put it back in I'm not sure how to explain it). Lord willing we won't have to do this. I will find out this morning.
